William A Raabe, PhD, CPA, lives in Madison WI. He writes and lectures about tax law and its effects on the economy. A prolific author and an expert in educational technologies, Dr Raabe has shared his work with taxpayers and their advisors around the world through traditional and electronic media.
Bill Raabe was the Wisconsin Distinguished Professor of Taxation. He also taught at Ohio State, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Samford, and Arizona State, and the Capital University (OH) Law School. He was the Founding Dean of the Capital University School of Management.
Bill is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Carroll University (WI), and Milwaukee Lutheran High School. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1979.
William Raabe was named to the Alumni "Hall of Fame" at both Carroll University and Milwaukee Lutheran High School. He received an honorary doctorate from Concordia University Chicago.
Bill has been
active as a director and consultant for several not-for-profit organizations, and he has worked for a number of consulting firms,
universities, CPA societies,
and bar associations as a lecturer and educational designer.
